How do I submit a request for service or maintenance?
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond to your request as quickly as we can.
How quickly does Morningtide respond to my request for support?
During regular business hours (9am – 5pm PST, Monday – Friday) we will respond to and/or complete your request within 12 hours.
How can I use my monthly support time?
We understand that every client has different needs at different times. Your time is completely flexible and can be used each month on the support your business needs most. If you want to spend a month optimizing your SEO, you may use all your time that month on SEO optimization. If you would like to disperse it over multiple support features (within your chosen package), you can do that too.
What happens if my website breaks when WordPress is updated?
If your website breaks and we can fix it immediately, we will fix the issue. If not, we will roll the site back to the most recent working backup.
We will spend up to one (1) hour of time fixing/troubleshooting the issue – if we cannot fix the issue within that time, we will give you a time/cost estimate and let you decide if you’d like us to move forward.
Does Morningtide provide hosting?
Yes, we provide our own secure hosting server with 99.99% uptime. Other features include: an easy control panel, up to 5GB of disk space, and email service with unlimited email accounts including 5GB of storage each. See our hosting packages.
Does my website need to be on the WordPress platform?
Yes, we only design and serve WordPress websites. By providing a specific service via WordPress we are able to provide the most optimum WordPress support and maintenance.
Does it matter which host I use?
In simple terms, no. In rare cases the hosting environment may limit some of the services we provide. To insure you get the most out of your monthly service, consider switching to one of our hosting packages
Are there requirements for my hosting environment?
Yes – to get all the benefits of our service, we recommend the following environment:
- PHP 5.3 or higher
- MySQL 5.1 or higher
- SFTP and/or SSH capable and enabled
For automated and/or offsite backups you should also have the ability to email, FTP or SFTP to/from the server.
Can I cancel at anytime?
Yes, after your first two months of service you can cancel within 30-days of your renewal date. We are constantly looking to improve our services, if you have any questions or concerns, we would appreciate your feedback.
Does Morningtide support multi-site WordPress installs?
Due to the variable nature of multi-site installations, we do not offer this support.
